Kentucky Very Smoked tobacco in whole leaves undergoes the drying process according to the "Dark Fired" method, giving it its uniquely intense smoky note. The leaves are characterized by their deep dark color, have an increased nicotine content, and are folded lengthwise.
Our TIP:
If the tobacco leaves are too dry, you can easily moisten them by lightly spraying the leaves with water and then letting them rest in an airtight container for 4-8 hours. This way, the leaves will absorb the moisture and become wonderfully supple.
Please note that the tobacco leaves shown in our title image have been pre-moistened and carefully unfolded by us.
